Watch Rant: Why I think the IWC 3706 "Brick" Bracelet is one of the best bracelets

IWC 3706 "Brick" Bracelet -
Let's get this one thing out of the way: The IWC 3706 is not my favorite chronograph. It's small and the dial is a bit dated for me. I prefer the more modern IWC chronograph offerings. The bracelet however is another story. IWC offered a "Brick" Flieger bracelet with the 3706 flieger chronograph.

The bracelet is nicknamed "Brick" because of the unique arrangement of small steel bits used to form the bracelet.

This type of arrangement gives the bracelet a very cool look as light can play off all those little metal bits.
More importantly, the brick arrangement allows for maximal comfort as keeping the bits separate gives the bracelet more flex, and allows more air to get between all those little openings.
IWC took the opportunity to load up the deployment clasp with massive perilage. Open the clasp and it's perilage city!
If you're looking for a great bracelet watch for those humid summer days, I highly recommend this combination. Just don't pick up the bracelet separately as they tend to run high. It's better to just pick up the watch with the bracelet as one purchase, which can be had for $3,000-$3,500 depending on condition.
