WHY THIS WATCH

While Patek Philippe continues to churn out a range of iconic watches like the Nautilus, Perpetual Calendar, and Annual Calendar, it is still the Calatrava that embodies the essence of the brand. The Calatrava is understated, elegant, and carries inside it a top-notch mechanical movement.

The Calatrava ref. 3520 is a significant reference in the history of the Calatrava. It was the model that introduced the “Clou de Paris” (hobnail style) bezel. This example includes a yellow gold 32mm round case topped with that now-famous bezel.

This particular 3520 is all the more rare as the dial displays "Gubelin", an esteemed watch retailer that has been in existence since 1854.

THE LITTLE DETAILS

Watch is 32mm. Case is in overall excellent condition showing normal wear on the case. Movement is running strong without issues. Watch comes on the original Patek strap and 18K buckle.
