WHY THIS WATCH

The B2 is an under-the-radar modern Breitling with some very useful bezel functions. This watch has a compass bezel that can be used for navigation, and various tachymeter indicators on the inner bezel for timing. These two elements result in one of the busiest looking dial/bezel combinations of the Breitling lineup. It's a love it or hate it look, that was designed to look like the instrument panel of a B2 bomber. You also get a full 3 sub-dial chronograph and date function, making this truly a feature-rich tool watch.

On the wrist, the 43mm case wears surprisingly well on my 6.5 inch wrist. It's not as chunky as other Breitling models, but still carries a ton of wrist presence. There's something very aerospace about the way this watch looks. I can imagine many pilots being drawn to this timepiece. Very cool and unconventional layout on the chronograph sub-dials, with a running seconds at 3, 3-hour maker at 6 and 10 minute marker at 9. Great overall tool watch at this price point.

THE LITTLE DETAILS

Watch was purchased in 2001 and was worn very sparingly by it's original owner. The crystal is in overall excellent condition with minor surface wear on the case and bracelet. The crystal is free from scratches. The movement was cleaned and oiled recently, and is keeping good time, with the chronograph resetting to zero properly. The watch comes with the full set of box and papers you see in the pictures, includes manuals, warranty paperwork, tag, inner box and outer box. The watch has all the original links and will fit an 8+ inch wrist.
