WHY THIS WATCH
A fantastic entry level Rolex for the vintage lover. The Oysterdate first appeared in the Rolex lineup in 1960s and was finally discontinued in the late 80s. The Oysterdate is quite the oddity, as it's a manual wind watch. It was never fitted with an automatic, even towards the end of it's run in the 1980's. Powered by the Cal. 1225 inside, a 17-jewel mechanism with a 21,600bph frequency.
THE LITTLE DETAILS
Watch was worn very sparingly, with only small light wear throughout. Bracelet will fit 7 inch wrist. Comes with Original Rolex Box. Watch is Serial Number 665xxxx (1981).
WHY THIS WATCH
The Sub ref. 1680 was introduced 16 years after the very first Submariner in 1953 and was the first submariner to feature a cyclops date. Early Models of the Rolex Submariner 1680 had the word “SUBMARINER” in Red Writing which was phased out in 1973. As a result the models with the red are now sought out and prized by vintage Rolex collectors.
THE LITTLE DETAILS

WHY THIS WATCH
The latest iteration of the Rolex Seadweller has been very controversial. If you have a bigger wrist, you’ll enjoy the upgraded 43mm case. The red text on the dial is a throwback to the original Seadweller (this is an Anniversary model after all). Cyclops on the date window is also a new feature, whether you love it or hate it, it appears it’s going to be a feature going forward for the Seadweller. This watch is powered by the next generation Rolex 3235 movement which features Rolex’s patented Chronery escapement, made of nickle-phosphorous, an element that is inherently anti-magnetic. Extremely comfortable Rolex Glide-Lock clasp makes gives you the perfect fit.
THE LITTLE DETAILS

The 126600 was introduced in 2018 as part of the SeaDwellers 50th Anniversary. There was great controversy when this watch was introduced as it upped the case size from 40 to 43mm, added a cyclops to the crystal, and red script on the dial. The Sea-Dweller is arguably the most important Rolex from a technical perspective, and the least successful from a commercial perspective as the Sea-Dweller is constantly outsold by it's brother, the Submariner. Make no mistake, this is a very important watch from an R&D perspective as it's water resistant to a staggering 4000ft, which is 1300 feet greater than the highest building in the world.
THE LITTLE DETAILS
Watch was purchased from an AD in 2018 and comes with all that you see in the pictures included box, warranty card (stamped October 2018), warranty booklet, tags, and links that were removed for sizing. The case is in overall excellent condition, with minor wear from normal use which was hard to photograph, around 90%. The ceramic bezel and crystal are free from scratches. The bracelet is very clean, around 95%.

WHY THIS WATCH
This is the watch for you if you've ever wanted a Pre-Ceramic Bluesy Submariner, but don't like the gold. The owner of this watch purchased a Factory Rolex Bluesy Dial from a 16613 and installed it on his originally black dialed 16610 Submariner. This watch comes with the original papework.

WHY THIS WATCH
Pre-Ceramic, 5 digit Submariners are gaining in popularity at a breakneck pace, and for good reason. Although the aluminum bezels are not as scratch resistant, this is a good thing for those of us who appreciate, or even demand patina. The movements in these submariners are notoriously reliable and easy to service.

A Little History
The Rolex Submariner 16610 was released in 1988 and was powered by the brands longest serving movement, the automatic Rolex calibre 3135. The watch was originally fitted with black glossy dials with T25 tritium hour markers and hands. Tritium dials were eventually phased out in the late 90's with watches being fitted with "SWISS" only dials in 1999. "SWISS MADE" dials were fitted from 2000 onwards. These later dials featured Super-LumiNova filled hour marker and hand. The Rolex Submariner 16610 originally featured lug holes but there were deleted in 2003. The 16610 was produced until 2010 when it was replaced by reference 116610 with a larger case and ceramic bezel.
About This Watch
This watch is in fantastic condition and showing only minor wear. This particular example is an F series. The F series ran for 3 years from 2003-2005. This one is likely a later example as there are no lug holes. The case is in fantastic condition, showing minor wear from normal use, and sharp lugs. Likely received a light polish in the past. The bezel is very clean with no visible scratches to the naked eye. The crystal is clean with no scratches. Movement is running strong and date is changing at midnight. This watch was originally purchased from European Watch Company a very reputable Pre-Owned retailer out of Boston. It comes with the receipt from European Watch Company. No box or other paperwork.
Why this watch
If you like vintage Rolex, but have to have the modern fixens, this one’s for you. Sapphire crystal, a very comfortable bracelet and a bullet proof movement. This watch straddles vintage and modern perfectly.
