WHY THIS WATCH 

The Rolex GMT-Master was first conceptualized in partnership with Pan Am Airways, specifically for their crews on long-haul flights, and was supplied by Pan Am. The watch's unique feature is its ability to display two distinct time zones simultaneously. The original GMT-Master includes a fourth 24-hour hand that mirrors the time shown by the regular 12-hour hand. This GMT hand allows the wearer to align the main time display with Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) or any other timezone, and then adjust the rotatable 24-hour scale bezel to track a second timezone. The acronym 'GMT' originates from Greenwich Mean Time, which is also known as Coordinated Universal Time and serves as the standard timezone used in all aspects of aviation planning, weather forecasting, and scheduling. The Rolex GMT Master 16750, considered a transitional model, was manufactured between 1981 and 1988. It was offered with the famous red/blue Pepsi bezel insert or an all-black variant.

CASE: 8.7/10: Factory Rolex Case - 8.6m serial number from 1985. Excellent, with some wear from normal use. Strong and sharp lugs.

BRACELET: 9/10: Factory Rolex Bracelet. Light Wear. Will fit a 7.5 inch wrist.

DIAL/HANDS: Factory Rolex Service Dial and Handset

MOVEMENT: Factory Rolex Movement running strong and keeping excellent time. Was serviced in 2023 by our watchmaker.
